The building which houses the Craft Beer Central Hotel and the PG-4 Restaurant Brewery is part of the Main Railway Station complex in Gdańsk.
It dates back to 1900 and has a great historic value. Its design was created on 29.08.1898, but it was completed only much later. It was designed by three architects: Alexander Rundel, Paul Thomer and Georg Cuny.
The construction of the complex began in 1893 and was divided into stages. The first one lasted until 1896, the next one took place in the years 1897–1910.
According to historical sources, between 1900 and 1901, the building in which the Craft Beer Central Hotel is currently located was the seat of the head of the Prussian rai
The building underwent many renovations and modernizations in 1908, 1912, 1933, 1939, 1940.
From 1921, it housed the Council of the Port and Waterways of Gdańsk, established under the Paris Convention. The building survived World War II in good condition.
After 1945, there was a railway clinic in the building, which ended its activity at the beginning of the 21st century.
In 2017, the building was converted into a four-star hotel and PG4 Restaurant Brewery by its present owner Versus z o.o. S.K. under the supervision of the Monument Conservator.
THE SITE TODAY
Inside the renovated building, there is PG4 Restaurant Brewery and a hotel part consisting of 39 high standard rooms and a conference centre.
The building has been renovated with attention to every detail, so that the rooms are not only very comfortable, but also meet all technical expectations. Guests can use Handy mobile phones, access Internet and make free international calls.

The largest of the apartments, Jopen – consists of two living rooms and a bedroom separated by glass doors.
